English: Gedling is famous for being a mining town. Gedling Country Park was once the location of a colliery, where miners would go deep underground to extract coal. Maybe you know someone who worked down the mines?

Maths: Here are a couple of starter games around adding and subtracting decimal numbers. Get the answer right and you get to take a penalty:
