Welcome to the All Hallows PTA Page

On this page you will find information about the PTA Committee, our latest events, ways to support us and information about Committee Meetings.  We are a friendly group who are always open to new members joining us, whether you have a lot of time to give, or just a little, have fundraising ideas, are keen to be actively involved or just want to come along and find out a bit more about what we do, you will be very welcome.  We do hope you'll get involved by attending meetings and supporting our events which are for the benefit and welfare of all children and your school. Our goal is simply to raise as much money as possible for whatever school needs, a range of school activities which we subsidise and special treats for the children. We have meetings throughout the school year with reminders advertised in the school newsletter, on this page and on our Facebook Page.

Our next planned events.....

.....will be arranged as soon as we can, within the guidance of what it is safe to do & when it is safe to do it.  This includes re-arranging the Adults Only Quiz Night that was sold out for 20th March 2020.

The Autumn Term 2020 is going to be a strange one given the limited access to school premises and how we organise activities and continue our support, whilst putting the safety of all the children, families and staff first.  With this in mind, we have made the difficult decision, in partnership with school, to cancel our usual Autumn Disco, the Christmas Panto and the Christmas Fair.

  • Whilst we can't hold our usual Macmillan Coffee Morning in School, we wish you every success if you are holding your own coffee mornings on 25th September and you can still make a donation to Macmillan via our PTA account.  Our personalised Coffee Morning Link is
  • The children will be designing their own Christmas Cards in school before October Half Term.  By early November, all children will have their personalised sample card to take home with an order form.  Christmas cards, gift tags and various gifts are available with your child's design on, all you need to do is complete the order form and return to school with payment by the deadline date specified.
  • We are still aiming to hold our ever-popular Christmas Raffle but intend to do a 'live online draw' rather than at the Christmas Fair, we will publish a list of prizes in December and information about how to purchase your raffle tickets.

We will provide further updates on this page as they become available for information regarding future events.

There are a few easy ways to support us in addition to, and in the absence of, our events & these ways have never been more important......

Stikins - Great Name Labels for School Uniforms!

We've teamed up with Label Planet to offer parents/carers the opportunity to purchase quality labels for your children’s school uniform, whilst earning the school commission at the same time! This money can then be used to continue to help purchase some of the fantastic resources that benefit our children’s learning.

Although naming clothing is a school requirement, lost property is a problem in all schools and everyone loses something at some point! We're aware time is precious and these labels are such a great idea; simply sticking onto the clothing wash label and they can even be used in shoes!  If preferred, you can also purchase the iron-on variety.

Each order placed quoting the school reference number (348) will provide the school with 30% commission. The easiest way to order is through the website at or you can order over the phone on 01270 668076.

Local Charitable Cause for the Co-Op

Until October we are one of the local Co-Op chosen charitable causes, please register for a Co-Op Members Card and select us online as your chosen charity, show your card every time you shop and raise money without it costing you any extra! Being a Co-Op Member has lots of other great benefits and we thank Debz and her Team at our local Co-Op branch for their on-going support with this work.

PTA Meetings

Our next meeting is planned for Wednesday 14th October 2020 at 6.30pm via Zoom, with joining details published nearer the time.

Our Annual General Meeting will be held zia Zoom on Tuesday 17th November 2020 at 8pm.  The posts of Chairperson and Treasurer are up for election and more details on standing for election will be published nearer the time.  It is critical that we have a good turn out for the AGM as if there aren't enough people it can't go ahead and the PTA can't continue to operate.  Without the PTA, the school, and the children and families it serves, miss out on vital funds to provide a lot of additional extras that the school budget simply cannot always cover.  We have recently funded new books, IT equipment, playground improvements, items for specific year groups, external sinks and much more.  We also subsidise many school trips and activities when they operate so please show your support at the AGM, we only ask for 45 minutes of your time to enable us to continue to run.

If you would like to join our mailing list, be kept up to date about PTA meetings or have any queries for the PTA, please message us via our Facebook Page 'All Hallows School PTA (Gedling)' or email
