Welcome to the All Hallows PTA Page

On this page you will find information about the PTA Committee, our latest events, ways to support us and information about Committee Meetings.  We are a friendly group who are always open to new members joining us, whether you have a lot of time to give, or just a little, have fundraising ideas, are keen to be actively involved or just want to come along and find out a bit more about what we do, you will be very welcome.  We do hope you'll get involved by attending meetings and supporting our events which are for the benefit and welfare of all children and your school. Our goal is simply to raise as much money as possible for whatever school needs, a range of school activities which we subsidise and special treats for the children. We have meetings throughout the school year with reminders advertised in the school newsletter, on this page, via ParentMail and on our Facebook Page, All Hallows School PTA (Gedling).

There are many people involved in the PTA in various capacities.  The current core committee posts are held by:

  • Lynda Waplington-Richards - Chair Person
  • Sarah Smith - Treasurer
  • Katherine Crossley - Secretary

All committee members can be contacted via

Fundraising Update and Information on Forthcoming Events.....

Despite spending a large part of the 2020-2021 academic year in lockdown or with restrictions in place, we were proud to invest over £12,000 back into school to support new sinks, storage areas, Christmas parties, computer games and licenses, IT equipment, the new memorial and reflection garden, the School Fund, the development of the library and new books and Year 6 celebrations, as well as subsiding many class trips.

We hope that the 2021-22 academic year enables us to do many more activities for the children and these will be planned in line with the latest national guidance and school policies to ensure all events are safe for everyone.

Autumn Term Update

  • We provided Welcome Goody Bags for all the new starters in Class Bestwood at the end of their first week of school, well done our littlest superstars!
  • Macmillan Coffee Morning raised £186.40 for Macmillan Cancer Research.
  • The children designed their own Christmas Cards & raised a profit of an amazing £574!
  • Our AGM was held on 23rd November 2021 and Lynda was elected as Chair Person and Sarah as Treasurer
  • We were so disappointed to have to cancel the Christmas Fair planned for 4th December. This was due to new government guidance because of the new variant and increase in cases. Our raffle was drawn live on Facebook & ParentMail donations of £407 allowed us to provide a goody bag for all the children at the end of term.
  • Our Clothing Collection on Thursday 9th December 2021 raised a fantastic £430.70!

Spring Term Update

  • The Smartie Tube Challenge over February Half Term made a profit of £503! Well done to Class Newstead and Class Wollaton who won extra play times! The funds raised will support the purchase of new library books.
  • The Pre-Loved Costume Sale raised over £106! Thank you for your donations and purchases!
  • Thank you for all your support during Book Week. We received some fantastic donations in our Children’s Book Amnesty and through our Amazon Book Week Wish List.  The funds raised through Smarties & Costume sales will enable school to ensure the remaining books on the Wish List can all be purchased.

Stikins - Great Name Labels for School Uniforms!

We've teamed up with Label Planet to offer parents/carers the opportunity to purchase quality labels for your children’s school uniform, whilst earning the school commission at the same time! This money can then be used to continue to help purchase some of the fantastic resources that benefit our children’s learning.

Although naming clothing is a school requirement, lost property is a problem in all schools and everyone loses something at some point! We're aware time is precious and these labels are such a great idea; simply sticking onto the clothing wash label and they can even be used in shoes!  If preferred, you can also purchase the iron-on variety.

Each order placed quoting the school reference number (348) will provide the school with 30% commission. The easiest way to order is through the website at or you can order over the phone on 01270 668076.

Local Charitable Cause for the Co-Op

We are one of the local Co-Op chosen charitable causes, raising £1,688 over 2020-21 and we have been fortunate to be chosen again until October 2022.  Please register for a Co-Op Members Card and select us online as your chosen charity, show your card every time you shop and raise money without it costing you any extra! Being a Co-Op Member has lots of other great benefits and we thank Debz and her Team at our local Co-Op branch for their on-going support with this work.

Pre-Loved Uniform

Our good quality, pre-loved uniform is available all year round.  We have refined our stock to concentrate on clothing that displays the school logo as this is what we are asked for most.  So if you would like any logo uniform, or have any good quality logo uniform to donate, please contact us via our Facebook Page or email
