Click on the link above ' Quick Read ey words' Practice reading words by blending then build up to quick read. Can your child make up sentences using any of the words?
Can your child make up a story about the Octopus they wrote about on Tuesday? They might like to draw a cartoon strip, write, type or tell the story orally.

Google Mr Thorne Does Phonics ey Gereldine Giraffe. Watch the video together. Copy out the words onto pieces of paper to hide and find round the house. Write some incorrect words to find too. Can your child blend to read the words and spot if they are real or nonsense?
