Good Morning Class Sherwood - thank you for our first Zoom meeting yesterday. It was great to see and hear from so many of you (sorry it was only brief) - but again understand that this meeting wasn't possible for all. Next week (at the same time and zoom link), instead of a full general class zoom meeting, I would like to invite you to have a Pokemon themed meeting instead. I know that quite a few of you are missing being able to chat and show each other cards.
Reading Comprehension - Last week in R.E. you learnt a little about Pentecost. The reading comprehension to day gives you some more information. The downloadable file below has all the resources needed (text to read, questions and answers). There are three levels of challenge so please choose the most appropriate.
English - Yesterday you read through many different examples of persuasive writing focusing on zoos followed by a presentation. Today, I would like you to have a go at writing your first persuasive text. I have included a word mat below to help you with your writing. But first read, through the text below and make some notes at each point before starting your persuasive text.
Maths - Today's focus follows on from yesterday - multiplication.
Computing - I would like you to have a go at honing your typing skills. Follow the link below to the BBC Bitesize zone on computing and play Dance Mat Typing. There are several different levels so start where you think is most appropriate for you.
