All Hallows Church of England Churchyard Answers
The two famous cricketers buried in the Churchyard who both played for Nottinghamshire and England were Alfred Shaw (died 1907) and Arthur Shrewsbury (died 1903).
We also found the grave of John Finders (died 1798) who served as a soldier for 62 years.
The earliest grave marker is dated 13th May 1712 (306 years old) and there are several other graves dating from the eighteenth century.
