Aisling Walters

I'm a parent governor and value the opportunities that this offers. I feel privileged to be able to support the students, teachers and school community. I work at Nottingham Trent University, leading the secondary English PGCE course.  Before this I was a secondary school English teacher for over ten years. I'm currently completing my MA in Education; my dissertation focuses on the experiences of teacher writers. I'm passionate about supporting equity, diversity and inclusion in schools and am enjoying learning about literacy and writing within a primary setting.
