Good morning Class Sherwood I hope that you are all well and are looking forward to today's activities.

Reading - I saw this reading resource and thought of Marley. The downloadable file below has both the text and questions. There are three slightly different versions to choose from. I hope they get all the facts right Marley.

English - So many of you enjoyed the bit of fun logo quiz that I have included another to get you started.

I would like you to take a look at the three different adverts below. Each advert is advertising the same product but slightly differently. 

Use the scorecard to record review each of the adverts. Which advert has the most features? Which is the most effective advert?

Geography - Today's geography focus is about the Tropics (Tropic Capricorn and Cancer) and specifically comparing the climate within this region with that of the UK. Below is a downloadable learning document with its associated activity.

Select an area of the tropics using the downloadable resource 'Tropical Weather Areas Activity Cards.' Research the climate of this area of the tropics, and use the downloadable 'Tropical Weather Report Activity Sheet' to record your findings.

Use this information to prepare a weather forecast to present.

And Now, the Weather… Use the world map in the presentation for a backdrop. What similarities and differences did you notice between the locations?
