How We Promote Equality at All Hallows

Our Curriculum Inclusive

We design our curriculum to reflect the diversity of our school, local community and wider world. This includes: 

• Using high‑quality texts that represent a wide range of cultures, families and lived experiences.
• Providing diverse, rich resources such as picture books, toys, images and artefacts that help children see themselves positively represented and learn about others.
• Embedding equality, respect and understanding through our PSHE curriculum.
• Holding Picture News and British Values assemblies to help pupils explore current events, diversity and global issues.
• Weekly story-time assemblies that celebrate a broad range of authors, characters and perspectives along with our monthly Musician of the Month.

A Welcoming and Supportive Environment

• Our school values are woven through daily life and help us create a safe, respectful and inclusive culture.
• We encourage all pupils to express their views and contribute through strong pupil voice opportunities.
• Our behaviour and anti‑bullying approaches ensure all pupils feel safe, respected and supported.

Monitoring and Removing Barriers

We regularly review and analyse:

• Pupil progress and attainment
• Attendance patterns
• Participation in clubs, trips and wider school life

This helps us identify and tackle barriers early so that all children have equal opportunities to succeed.
